1. A complete overhaul is strong suggested. In a long time operated machine, part of electronic components might be ageing, drive mechanism might be abrasive. If such situation could not be solved, the equipment will be more abrasive to disturb the production.
 

2. Suggest replacing the guide rail of chine and lay guide open gripper balls, if the speeds lower than 3000 paper per hour, to avid reducing of precision and damage of gripper bars under high speed operation.

Washout liquid should be replaced if it is too thick. The best way is to add a recycling equipment in order to ensure the washout liquid can be filled up in time. The specific gravity of the washout liquid should be strictly controlled in range of 1.418-1.420 to grantee a suitable wash period within 3-5 minutes. To length wash time, when liquid became thick is not a recommended way.

If the drying temperature inside dryer is different, the difference is able to cause different shrinkages on different parts of flexo plate. The stable temperature in dryer is very important; the different of temperatures in different parts inside a dryer should not over 5 degree. The standard temperature of dryer should be held around 60 degree. The over temperature will caused fast drying on the surface of plate before inside solvent did not completely evaporated, and make plant easily be cracked. If the temperature is over 73 degree, the basement of plant should be absolutely cracked and caused bad overprinting. At meantime, the shrinkage of plate basement is also very bad for printing.

The index of plate making is not correct, the quality and specific gravity of the washout liquid is not correct.

Because of the evacuation is not good enough and reduced adsorption force, it caused time of exposure is short, although the uniformity is good, the washed plate can not be very cleaning.

1. The light value is not stable and time of exposure and drying is not enough, or long time washing, caused washed plate swell the physical characteristics of plate could not be resumed. Using such plate in printing, plate should be deformed even damaged very quickly. At meantime, due to unstable light value and short time of exposure, the resin might not be solidified, and caused plate cracked or the basement separated.

       1. Unqualified gasket makes even-bedded unfinished.
       2. Unqualified adhesive tape caused bad air permeability.
       3. Roughness of printing surface.

Incompatible inks or solvents make plate deformed (swelled or cracked) the relationship with plate -
      1. Bad vacuity of film cause diffusion during exposure.
      2. The pressure of the vacuum pump of the exposure machine is not able to reach -0.8 bar caused bad vacuity between plate and printing material.
      3. Undried film produced nitrogen between plate and printing material during long time exposure and made the vacuity changed.
      4. Hardness of plate is not enough and caused printing material is not even-bedded.

The relationship with printing process -
       1. Printing material did not be polished or the adhesive tape is too sticky.
       2. Incompatible inks or solvents.

Misoperation on strong solven the relationship with plate -
       1. Default on cutting. 
       2. Shortage of post-exposure.

The relationship with plate -
     1. Wrong exposure time, to change new light tub.
     2. Unfinished washout.
     3. Over exposure, tub is out of date, none or not enough exposure.

The relationship with plate -
      1. The brush is too soft, the temperature of washout solvent is not correct, or not a correct wash solvent.
      2. The pressure of brush is not correct, not an enough washout time, solvent should be replenished or dirty washout liquid and dirty carrier of the liquid.

The relationship with plate -
      1. Washout time is not enough, or washout liquid is dirty or not enough, or incorrect washing twice.
      2. Did not install brush correctly.
      3.Back exposure is not enough, tub is out of date.

The relationship with plate -
      1. Washout liquid is not correct, solvent is dirty, solvent is not enough, the temperature of washout liquid is not correct.
      2. Brush is not installed correctly.

The relationship with plate -
      1 .The sanding of the cathode is not enough or lost.
      2. Did not use vacuum film.
      3. Incorrect type of negative plate.
      4. Unqualified plate making.
 

The relationship with printing process -
      1. Unbalanced printing.

The relationship with plate -
      1. Underexposure.
      2. Drying time is too short or drying temperature is too low.
      3. Washout overly.
      4. Incorrectly storage of raw materials.
      5. Did not cleaning the back of plate.
